Mercury Demons are named so for their service of Mercury, the self proclaimed Roman God of Thievery, millennia ago. Since then, they've evolved into a powerful clan of Upper-Level Demons. These demons hatch from eggs grown in the fires of hell.
Phoebe Halliwell met and fell in love with an ex-Mercury Demon known as Drake, when they met it was revealed that Drake had only had a few weeks to live. He was the only Mercury Demon the Charmed Ones came across.
The Book of Shadows
The Halliwell's Book of Shadows contains an entry regarding this breed of demon; there is no illustration however. The entry contains a general description of the demons, including their powers and a method of vanquish a witch can use to destroy a member of the breed. The entry reads as follows:

- Mercury, the self

- In modern times
- they've evolved
- into a powerful

- Demons.

- that incubate in the

- formidable foes,

- the Power of Three.
Powers
The Book of Shadows confirms that Mercury Demons are born with the ability to shoot Thermal Blasts, powerful enough to knock out ten demos in one shot.
Drake dè Mon exhibited the additional powers of:
- Regeneration
- Illusion Casting
- Conjuration
- Telekinesis
- Shimmering
Note: These powers were unique only to Drake, it is unknown if these additional powers are possessed by other Mercury Demons.
