Stefanie Marie Adams Foster (née Cooper formerly Foster) is the daughter of Frank Cooper and Sharon Elkin. She is the wife of Lena Adams Foster and the ex-wife of Mike Foster, with whom she has one son with, Brandon. Stef is also the adoptive mother of Mariana, Jesus, Jude, and Callie, and the foster mother of Ka'maya.

She was a dedicated police officer for the San Diego Police Department who took down a number of criminals. She was partnered with her ex-husband, Mike Foster. Steph often had severe difficulties in life. One day, while Steph and Michael were rescuing Ana (Marianne and Jesus' Mother) from a dangerous drug addict, Steph was badly injured, but she was cured in the hospital and Steph recovered and returned to work. Then a year later, Steph lost her father and died of a heart attack. And Steph was very worried that she and her father never had time to compete. Then a year later, Steph developed breast cancer and had to undergo surgery. And she also had nervous breakdowns. Steph improved her health, but she decided to change her police profession to legal profession. Later, Stef was promoted to detective. Once she became a detective, she began busting prostitution and trafficking rings alongside her fellow officers. When her kids graduated high school, she opened a non-profit shelter for homeless and abused women while supporting her wife's political campaign.

Stephie's ex-husband, Mike married Ana. And Steph helped them raise their child.

The children Steph and Leni, when they grew up apart in different cities, but still Steph and Lena found time to come to them and lead well together in time. More Steph and Lena came to Callie and Marianne, who worked in Los Angeles, and even helped them out of work. Steph's son, Brandon married Eliza. And in 2022, Eliza became pregnant. And Steph already had a granddaughter, Vasilisa.

Stephie and Lena are lesbians they have always loved and supported each other very much. And they often helped other women who had problems.
